7:00 - 8:30 PM EST, IN-PERSON EVENT

Welcome to the extraordinary world of fermented beverages as part of the “Dry January: Fermentation Workshop Brewery Tour”! Join Trevor Ring, educator and founder of Community Cultures, to enter the fascinating world of kombucha and wild-fermented natural soda in this demo-based and hands-on fermentation workshop.

Participants will learn how to safely make fermented beverages at home and walk away with:
– a kombucha mother to start your first batch at home
– a jar of soda to ferment at home (made with guidance during the workshop!)
– an understanding of how to use creativity and seasonal inspiration to ferment your beverages safely and with confidence
– PDF handouts of kombucha, wild soda and carbonation

Note:
All who sign up must purchase 1 beverage from Jackworth Ginger Beer.

The products discussed and sampled in this workshop contain traces of alcohol (generally <0.5%), but are legally considered non-alcoholic.

All products in this workshop are gluten-free, nut-free, vegetarian, and vegan (some samples may contain honey)

This workshop will entail squeezing fruit (therefore potentially staining clothing). Please dress accordingly!
