Fermenting Sodas & Condiments with Water Kefir

6:30 - 8PM EST, IN-PERSON EVENT

Enter the fascinating world of water kefir (aka tibicos) in this engaging, dynamic workshop. Attendees will learn about the significance of this starter culture, what makes it unique, how to keep it healthy, and what products it can ferment. This workshop will specifically focus on creating naturally fermented soda, and discuss other products like nut-based cheese and other condiments.

Walk away with a water kefir culture (a new pet to adopt and care for!), a jar to ferment soda at home, and the curiosity and confidence to use water kefir to ferment other products. Participants will receive digital handouts, recipes and guides in an email after the workshop.

This workshop is suitable for all ages. All ingredients used in this workshop are vegan and gluten-free; sodas contain traces of alcohol (<0.5% ABV). Seeds and nuts will be present. No special equipment or materials are required.
